Refund Policy
Last updated: 12 August 2026
CowTicket is the ticketing platform, not the event organizer. Each organizer sets the refund terms for their own event, and refund decisions are made by the organizer. This page explains how the process works once a refund is approved.
If you bought a ticket
- Check the event's own refund terms first — they were shown where you bought the ticket and they decide whether you are eligible.
- To request a refund, contact the event organizer using the contact details on the event page or in your order confirmation email.
- If you cannot reach the organizer, email support@cow-ticket.dev with your order number and we will contact the organizer on your behalf. We cannot approve a refund the organizer has declined, but we will always help you get an answer.
How an approved refund is paid
- Refunds are processed through Stripe back to the original payment method. There is no other payout route — we cannot send a refund to a different card or bank account.
- Once processed, the money typically appears on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
- When an order is refunded, its tickets are no longer valid and will be rejected at event check-in.
- Refunds are made in Thai Baht, the currency of the original charge.
Cancelled events
If an organizer cancels an event, they are responsible for refunding all paid orders. Organizers can refund every order of an event from their dashboard, and we assist organizers in doing so promptly.
For organizers
You can refund any paid order at any time from the order page — full amount, back to the buyer's original payment method. The platform fee on a refunded order is returned to the buyer as part of the refund; Stripe's processing fee is subject to Stripe's own refund terms. Publish clear refund terms for your event before tickets go on sale: it is required by our Terms of Service and it saves everyone time on event day.
